Thembeka Environmental Consulting builds on more than 12 years’ experience in environmental management offering tailored solutions in navigating the technical and regulatory environments in which our clients operate. Our staff have successfully managed and completed EIAs for large infrastructure projects in Southern Africa and provides a range of corporate support and environmental and engineering project management services to guide clients through the project life cycle.
Undertaking environmental studies and applying environmental management programmes just for the sake of permitting and compliance purposes is expensive. Environmental considerations should instead add value to a development, benefitting from a sustainable balance with its surrounds.
We offer to support the client from project inception, through planning and design to construction and operations. We are experienced in handling complex environmental issues, and in particular presenting these in a manner that supports good, efficient decision making with a minimum of delay. We work with technical teams and scientific specialists to ensure a fully integrated environmental argument. Mitigation measures are developed to support both the environment and the development, very often with clear benefits to both.
